Step 9: September – Continue the breeding regiment

Continue to keep all the nutrients, supplements, hatchling food, spray millet, breeding/winter seed mix, etc... Be sure to have nesting materials abundant in the aviary at all times. Look for empty nesting boxes, clean them out and add fresh nesting materials and poultry dust as needed.

"Again, watch your birds "closely" to be sure the nest boxes are not being used or there are not any birds looking at them or inside them for a potential nesting site when replacing nesting materials".

Keep the serving dishes and water containers clean and maintain proper loft hygiene. Remember to keep a pile of clean nesting materials available for your birds at all times.
